Our primary goal is to ensure the provision of quality inclusive education to all, and to achieve this, we diligently strive to enhance educational opportunities for children living in marginalised communities and hard-to-reach areas.

UWS Nepal is deeply committed to the UN SDG 4, working to provide inclusive, high-quality education and promoting zero education poverty for all children. Our comprehensive five model approach focuses on building access to overcome geographical and cultural barriers, providing quality education, ensuring inclusive approach, strengthening systems and promoting sustainable communities.

The Major Objective Of UWS Nepal is to construct, manage state-of-the-art facilities in community-led schools and implement effective quality education programmes in rural areas so that the children feel safe and encouraged to study.Our programmes are focused on Building Schools with WASH facilities where we work with local governments, communities and local change-makers at every step to facilitate local construction work in the short term and encourage community ownership in the long run.

Running Schools involves collaborating with communities, organizations, and governments to deliver inclusive education. Through our programs, we form School Retention Teams, hold community meetings, and provide support like schools supplies, extra-classes, and menstrual education to retain children at-risk of dropping out.

UWS Nepal employs and trains teachers from the local community to work alongside teachers provided by the government. This approach ensures education is locally contextualised and strengthens links between communities and our schools.
