Amrit Dhakal is an energetic, devoted, and enthusiastic person. Amrit is Tribhuwan University topper of the year 2075 in Bachelors of Arts and Social Work (BASW) with social work and rural development as a major subject from Newton International College. Amrit loves children and has been involved in teaching and giving tuition to children after he completed his higher secondary education. Providing moral, disciplined, and productive quality education has always been his motive to start his teaching journey. Amrit is also a member of Leadership Corner, a social impact enterprise where he volunteers as a speaker on topics such as personal development, leadership, and teamwork to motivate children from more than 15 government schools. He also participated as a leading youth of the Submitting Charter for the project Post-Sustainable Development Goals 2015 for Nepal Government.
Niyatra Karki is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, at Mahendra Morang Adarsha Multiple Campus, Biratnagar. Niyatra was born and raised in Sikkim. She loves traveling, learning about new cultures and traditions, and reading books. She is empathic in nature and has been actively participating in social works such as Red Ribbon Club and Environment Health Club (EHC). She worked as a full-time teacher at Shree Makalu Academy, Biratnagar when she realized that her job had turned into her passion which is why she decided to join the UWS Nepal teaching fellowship program.
