Strengthening Education Systems in Rural Nepal.
Strengthening the education system in rural Nepal is vital to combat high dropout rates, inadequate teacher training, and poor student performance. The World Bank emphasises that local engagement and strong support networks are essential for preventing declining enrollment, particularly among marginalised groups.* Our initiatives focus on collaboration with local governments and organisations for policy advocacy and capacity building, having trained 520 teachers to enhance educational outcomes and ensure that no child is left behind.

Building Sustainable Communities
The Sustainable Development Goals emphasise the need for community-driven solutions in rural education, especially in skill development and vocational training to enhance self-sufficiency and economic stability.*
Quality Education
In rural Nepal, approximately 50% of students fail to meet academic standards in Nepali, English and Mathematics, revealing significant challenges in teacher quality and training*.
Equitable Access
Access to education in rural Nepal is severely unequal, with only 55% of children enrolled in early childhood education and alarmingly high dropout rates, particularly among girls in secondary school, due to geographical, cultural, and financial barriers*.
