Access to Inclusive & Equitable Education
We are redefining the educational landscape in Nepal, one child at a time. With a focus on inclusion and equity, we are reaching more children in remote areas and empowering communities to ensure education becomes a lasting and accessible right for all.

Education is also equally important to sustainable development as any other infrastructure. I think empowering the children from the villages like myself, is a great stepping stone to a better quality of life.

Quality Education
Quality education is the foundation of a brighter future. By prioritizing teacher and student attendance, as well as ensuring a low teacher-student ratio, we are enabling learning environments where every child has the chance to excel.

Education is the key to transforming lives and shaping a better future. It empowers individuals, strengthens communities, and opens doors to endless possibilities. I deeply appreciate how UWS Nepal is empowering communities and is dedicated to providing quality education for children. True progress begins when local knowledge, skills, and potential are valued and nurtured.

Construction & WASH
Access to education is not just about classrooms—it’s about providing safe, supportive environments where children can thrive. Our commitment to building schools and providing essential WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) facilities ensures that education is delivered in environments where children can learn, grow, and stay healthy.

Through every challenge we overcome and every structure we build, we are reminded that we are not just constructing schools—we are building dreams, fostering hope, and laying the foundation for a better future.

Fellowship
Our Fellowship Program is one of the cornerstones of UWS Nepal’s mission to not only educate children but to inspire leaders who will shape the future of education in Nepal and beyond. The impact of our fellows reaches far beyond the classroom, creating ripple effects that empower entire communities.

The fellowship journey has shaped me significantly and honed my leadership abilities. If you want to change the education system, you should work with the students, community, and schools in rural areas. As a young person, I invested two years in shaping students’ futures. I urge other youths to contribute positively; the real problems are seen at the local level, and the root cause of corruption can be addressed.

Girls’ Club & Mothers’ Group
We are not just educating children; we are transforming communities by empowering mothers and girls to be active participants in their education. Through our Mothers’ Groups and Girls’ Clubs, we are fostering leadership, resilience, and a commitment to the future of education.

In the past, many of us mothers were not actively involved in our children’s education. However, since UWS Nepal partnered with our community and raised our awareness, we now recognize the vital role we play in ensuring our children’s education and safety.

Local Government Engagement
We are not alone in this mission. Our work with local municipalities ensures that education becomes a shared priority and that resources are directed where they are most needed. This partnership is essential for building sustainable solutions that reach the most marginalized communities.

Leaving for the Gulf seeking a better future, I quickly realized how a lack of education held me back. That eye-opening experience drove me to action upon returning to Nundhaki. Inspired by UWS Nepal’s efforts to bring education to the remotest areas, I’ve raised funds to build a high-quality playground and now envision classrooms equipped with smart boards. Together, we can ensure every child, no matter where they live, has the tools to dream big and achieve a brighter future.

Teachers’ Development
The key to quality education is quality teachers. Our teacher recruitment and professional development initiatives are transforming the teaching profession, providing educators with the tools, training, and support they need to succeed.

As teachers, we have a profound impact on the lives of children, often more than we realize. At UWS Nepal, we are equipped with the training and tools to nurture these young minds, shaping them into compassionate, capable, and responsible individuals for the future.

Community Engagement
Our work is only possible with the active involvement of communities. By providing dropout prevention training, conducting awareness programs, and engaging local members in school management, we are building strong, resilient communities that can support and sustain education for generations to come.

Before joining the Mothers’ Group, I never imagined that an uneducated, illiterate woman like me—someone who rarely had a voice in the intellectual matters of society—could bring about real change. But today, as an active member of the group, I am overwhelmed with pride and joy to see the difference we are making, not only in my own child’s life but in the lives of so many children at UWS Nundhaki. Being part of the Mothers’ Group has shown me the incredible power of a mother’s voice.
